Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju

Prof. Ibrahim A. Adeyanju is a respected scholar and technology leader, currently serving as Managing Director/CEO of Galaxy Backbone Limited, Nigeria’s provider of digital infrastructure and shared ICT services. With over 20 years of experience in AI, machine learning, and digital infrastructure, he combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive innovation and support Nigeria’s digital transformation.

A first-class Computer Engineering graduate of LAUTECH, he holds MSc and PhD degrees from Robert Gordon University, UK, with further research experience including a postdoctoral fellowship in Information Retrieval. Since becoming CEO in 2024, he has been leading Galaxy Backbone’s role in digitizing government services and strengthening the country’s digital economy through secure connectivity, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.

Gbenga Olabiyi

Olugbenga is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience across ICT, telecommunications, and Nigeria’s digital economy. As CEO of Dimension Data Nigeria, he has led a strong expansion over the past five years, positioning the company as a key partner for multinationals entering Nigeria and West Africa.

He is also a strong advocate for digital infrastructure development, promoting investments in connectivity and data centres to drive inclusive growth. Olugbenga holds degrees from the University of Lagos and Edinburgh Business School, with executive training from Harvard and Lagos Business School, and was named among Nigeria’s 50 Most Valuable Personalities in the Digital Economy in 2025.

Oluwasayo Oshadami

Director, Solutions Architects, Equinix West Africa

Oluwasayo Oshadami is the Director, Solutions Architects (West Africa) at Equinix. He also recently served as the Head, Technical Solutions and Managed Networks at MainOne.

Sayo is responsible for solutions design and architecture for networks/interconnections and data centers, commercial solutions, and project delivery for customer requirements in West Africa.

He has been in MainOne for over 13 years and has extensive industry experience in network and data centre designs, planning, and implementation in West Africa. He is a graduate of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna.

Tony Emoekpere

Tony Izuagbe Emoekpere is a telecom leader and digital innovator, serving as President of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) and CEO of Anchor Telecoms. He has championed broadband expansion, policy alignment, and sustainable infrastructure to advance Nigeria’s digital economy.

An Electrical/Electronic Engineering graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, he began his career at Linkserve and later played a key role in early network deployment at MTN Nigeria. He founded Anchor Telecoms in 2005, growing it into a pan-African infrastructure firm, while continuing to promote innovation, talent development, and digital transformation across the sector.

Dr. Olusola Teniola

Director of Strategic Business Initiatives, ipNX Nigeria Limited

Dr. Olusola Teniola is a seasoned telecommunications executive with over 30 years of global experience in digital infrastructure, broadband, and strategic leadership. He currently serves as Director of Strategic Business Initiatives at ipNX Nigeria Limited, driving market expansion and key initiatives, including the company’s MVNO rollout. He has also worked with the World Bank Group and played a leading role in deploying digital infrastructure in Southwest Nigeria.

He has held top executive roles across the industry, including CEO of IS Internet Solutions and leadership positions at Phase3 Telecom, British Telecom, Vodafone, Cisco, and Alcatel-Lucent. A former President of ATCON and contributor to Nigeria’s Broadband Plan, Dr. Teniola remains a key figure in advancing connectivity and digital transformation in Nigeria.

Dr. Tola Yusuf

Dr. Tola Yusuf is a leading figure in Africa’s digital transformation, with over 20 years of experience spanning engineering, business, and project management. As Co-Founder of Infratel Africa, he has driven initiatives that have connected over 250 communities and more than 9 million Nigerians, delivering solutions such as smart Wi-Fi, telemedicine, e-learning, and financial inclusion to underserved rural areas.

A recognised thought leader and serial entrepreneur, Dr. Yusuf has led telecom investments worth over $400 million and manages critical network infrastructure services annually. Soji Maurice-Diya

Soji Maurice-Diya is a globally recognized business leader with over 20 years of experience across telecommunications, digital infrastructure, and technology. He is currently the Managing Director and CEO of NatCom Development and Investment Limited (ntel), leading the company’s strategic market re-entry with a focus on innovation, digital inclusion, and value creation.

He has held senior roles at major global firms including Etisalat, ExxonMobil, IBM, American Tower, and EY, and previously served as CEO of American Tower Nigeria, where he drove significant expansion and strengthened connectivity in underserved areas. Engineer Gbenga Adebayo is Chairman of the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators (ALTON), where he leads policy advocacy and industry collaboration to drive Nigeria’s digital transformation. He is also Chairman and Group CEO of Communication Network Support Services Limited (CNSSL), with interests across telecom infrastructure and other sectors.

A respected industry figure, he has contributed to key national initiatives, including digital economy policy and SIM–NIN integration. He is the author of Telecom in Nigeria: A Role in the Call and a member of several professional bodies, with multiple recognitions for his impact on the telecom sector.
